Peace is the Only Path Forward: Scott Ritter Teaches

Teachers are precious. ~aw

Teachers are precious. Why this teaching was removed, I do not know.  Like much of Scott Ritter’s work it was insightful, thoughtful, respectful of us.  By us I mean those of us who would like ourselves and our children and grandchildren to survive the madness of war, of slaughter, of sheer terror, that has infected large numbers of humans on earth.

Have humans ever observed, collectively, the horror we witness now that also claims to be human?  Is the only difference that collectively now we have access to a vision of evil only written or spoken about before this era?

There is a decency and a sanity in Ritter’s teaching that I bow to, with deepest gratitude and respect. He is also so typically American, so American white male, that this too is a comfort. That there is an American spirit of resistance to wrong, a very masculine American spirit, a very white masculine American spirit that exists now and has always existed, though regularly ignored or penalized, in this hard to rouse from snacking and shopping and slumber, land.~aw
