Today we’re installing and testing our very first desalination unit, with a capacity of 1000 liters per hour, initially providing clean drinking water to 250 families each day. Our unit currently runs on a diesel engine, but we’re working on adding solar panels to boost sustainability Our biggest challenge is that the well water is very salty (with salinity measures of around 8,000 ppm), but we’re determined to make it work!

Meanwhile, our team has successfully connected the “Hind Rajab” IDP camp to the nearby municipal water supply, now providing safe drinking water to 120 families and we’re working to expand the grid.

In addition, we continue our daily activities to provide drinking water to 1,000 families in Al-Mawasi and Zawadeh, and we are installing 50 more toilets where there is a need.
