A BOOT ON A THROAT

A boot is a sign
Of man’s intelligence
To create all that eases his life.
But a boot on a throat
Is not just an object
Out of place and function.
A boot on a throat
Is not a stumble by mistake
Is not just a rough sport move
Or a bad taste practical joke.A boot on a throat
Is well thought harm,
Is the rebirth of the beast sleeping in man,
It’s evil unleashed at its free will
Suffocating our dignity,
Stamping on our hopes,
Smashing the intelligence
That makes boots and
Every thing that is human.

Una Bota En La Garganta

Para George Floyd

Una bota es un indicio
de la inteligencia del hombre
para crear todo que facilita su vida.
Pero una bota en la garganta
no es simplemente un objeto
fuera de lugar y de función.
Una bota en la garganta
no es un tropezón por error
no es justo un tosco lance deportivo
o una broma de mal gusto.

Una bota en la garganta
es daño bien pensado.
Es el renacer de la bestia que duerme en el hombre.
Es el mal desencadenado a su albedrío
asfixiando nuestra dignidad,
pisoteando nuestras esperanzas,
aplastando la inteligencia
que hace botas y
toda cosa que es humana.
